SPECIAL TRANSPORTATION ALERT

The National Organizing Committee of the Million Woman March requests the following:

Ø Submit a completed Million Woman March National Bus Registration form

Ø Submit registration fee of $25.00 per bus

Ø Submit a listing of all passengers

The bus registration forms are crucial to the coordination of highway, parking, and pedestrian traffic accommodations and safety. Upon receipt of this information MWM will send you a registration packet containing maps, bus placard, your designated parking place, receipts& etc.. Please pass this message along to anyone (or group) planning to travel by Bus.

Please send two separate money orders or certified checks.
Registrations must be postmarked by Wednesday, October 15, 1997.
Check #1 - Bus parking fee full day $25.00 per bus.
Check #2 - Token cost $2.30 per person in advance.

The above information is crucial to the coordination of highway, parking, and pedestrian traffic accommodations and safety. Please pass this message along to anyone (or group) planning to travel by Bus to the Million Woman March.

Upon arrival in Philadelphia, all buses will be directed to a bus staging area where passengers will disembark. You must register for access to bus staging areas. Buses will be assigned to predetermined parking sites contingent upon their arrival time. Only buses with valid MWM Placard Identification will be allowed to park within the City of Philadelphia and Camden. Sistas' are encouraged to purchase in advance tokens for $2.30 per person for round-trip transportation to and from the venue. Prepaid tokens will be distributed to buses upon arrival at the disembarkation site for distribution on bus. Tokens may also be purchased at the transportation center on the day of the Million Woman March (but this will be time consuming).
